C-WAD Risk Management Training Programme - The Gambia

On 13–14 May 2026, C-WAD Consultancy delivered a two-day Risk Management Training Programme in The Gambia, in collaboration with the West African Insurance Institute (WAII), The Gambia. The programme was designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and professional capabilities of insurance practitioners.

The training focused on the importance of effective risk management in the insurance industry and how professionals can apply risk management principles to improve decision-making, manage exposure, and support better organisational outcomes.

The training explored key areas of risk management relevant to the insurance sector, including:
